Kantankye Scout Camp Site is located just a few miles from the Lincolnshire coast and its many attractions.

The nearest major town is Skegness which comes alive in Spring and Summer with a host of attractions and things to do for all the family. On a warm day the beach at Skegness is one of the most popular spots in the county and in walking distance from here you will find numerous arcades, cafes, restaurants and children's activities.

 For those interested in nature you might want to pay a visit to Gibraltar Point nature reserve and enjoy its newly opened and refurbished visitor centre along with its many footpaths and trails. Back in Skegness you can see the seals at Natureland Seal Sanctuary or enjoy an interactive experience at Skegness Aquarium. In nearby Ingoldmells Fantasy Island theme park and Butlins offer great family days out with plentiful parking and places to eat.

If you're wanting to venture further afield then you can explore why Lincolnshire is known as 'Bomber Country' by paying a visit to the East Kirkby Aviation Heritage Centre. The historic city of Lincoln is around an hour away and is well worth a visit if you are new to the area. In Lincoln you can enjoy the beautiful centuries old cathedral or the newly renovated Lincoln Castle, recently voted the best new visitor attraction in the UK by National Geographic magazine.

East Kirkby Aviation Heritage Centre, home of the famous Lancaster Bomber 'Just Jane' is 13 miles away.
