New season underway...
Our new season is now underway and we have welcomed our first guests and also our first rally which has been a great success (pictures soon!).
A lot of work has taken place whilst we have been closed to improve the site. Notably amongst these is the new shower block. Ultimately this will consist of two showers and changing areas but initially will open with one functioning with the second to enter operation after.
Our on-site touring caravan continues to be available to rent and has been refreshed with some new interiors as well as a new hot water/heating system.
Further work will be ongoing throughout the year which will include landscaping and clearing of some areas to allow for guests to have the most enjoyable time possible. You may also notice the cottage on site undergoing a wonderful restoration but this will have minimal impact on anyone using the site.
To reflect the investment in the site there has been a slight increase in pitch fees which you can see on our website and if booking Pitchup.

Towering Trees
When you are on site take a second to stand back and appreciate our amazing trees! With each passing year they go from strength to strength and are full of vibrancy and colour, helping to add to our wonderful setting.

Easter Yorkshire Pennine Rally
The Yorkshire Pennine Rally spent their Easter meet with us which turned out to be eventful thanks to three days of heavy rainfall! Despite many caravans needing to be rescued from the muddy conditions the rally was a great success, thanks to the brilliant management of the marshals - Neil and Barbara Dolby and Pat and Ian McDowell.
The saviour of the week was our scout hut which proved a cosy and pleasant venue for evening gatherings. To end the rally an evening of music was provided by ourselves which everyone enjoyed and a chance for every to let their hair down after a busy week. A faith supper provided us all with a lovely buffet.
Overall, a lovely group of people who we look forward to hosting again in the future. Who knows? it could be a heatwave if the rally falls a bit later in the month next year!

Music Camporee 28 July - 4 August
Come and join us for a week at our relaxed site near Skegness. This is a gathering for campers of all ages who enjoy making and listening to their own music. All instruments welcome, beginners to advanced. No instrument? no problem, bring your singing voice or dancing feet, a happy musical extravaganza enjoyed by all!
